My name is Rashida M. Bailey and I am the K-12 School Counselor at Cougar Academy.
I am so excited and honored to join this amazing CA family. I am committed to encouraging, supporting, and empowering our students to become their best selves through a comprehensive counseling program that meets their academic, personal/social, and career developmental needs. I will meet with students individually and in small groups, conduct classroom lessons, collaborate and work as a team with parents and staff, as well as organize school wide events to benefit and meet the needs of our Cougar family. I will provide temporary/short-term support to assist students with overcoming acute issues impacting their school performance. As the counselor, I have the privilege of providing support to every student at Cougar Academy. Confidentiality is respected, unless they plan on hurting themselves, hurting someone else, or someone is hurting them. Communication between home and school is imperative. Therefore, if you or your child would like to meet with me for a specific concern, please do not hesitate to reach out. Here's to an INCREDIBLE school year!
